Personally, I'm leaning towards the former. If that article's anything to go by, they're so bad at driving that 200 of them died every day in the past year. To be honest, they need the wider spaces just to keep the death toll down. :P

Funny, I almost got into a serious accident today and the other driver was a Chinese Woman. Honestly, she took the liberty to drive into my lane randomly while I was doing 160 on the highway. -.-
When I opened up the link I was laughing to myself saying "they should make the parking spaces wider" and that's what I found. Absolutely sexist, ridiculous, and CORRECT.

haha there needs to be all female parking in the states too.. the extra few feet would have saved my ride from a few dents
