Eventful night for the COD4 team

Good news all-round for the COD4 team tonight, as some stellar performances right through the evening induced multiple league successes for the team.

Kicking off the evening with the defence of its #1 rung at TWL promod 4on4+ ladder, the team of French, Spreeez, Ace, Zolt, and Moff ruffled feathers over at ikymo, winning their home map Backlot convincingly 13-7. It was a tell-tale sign of events to come, as the challengers to our throne soon found out - a bloody 8-2 score against them on their home map saw cG'DF inflicting killer blow after killer blow, with a truly watertight defence. This left ikymo to report a somewhat landslide victory for .:Core Gaming:. at TWL, after what had started out a very even match. End result - 21-9

Following suite, the team of French, Devil, and Spreeezy took to mIRC in search of CB blood. The ensuing 3on3 was hard fought and evenly matched, as the cG'DF team went 9-11 down on their home-map, despite feeling quietly and frustratedly confident they had the upper-hand in terms of gameplay. Considerably stepping up its game in Crossfire however, the team took a 7-3 lead on the offence with some excellent teamplay and sportsmanship from its players. The subsequent defence rounds then became a simple task of point and shoot, as our 3on3 enemies WASD Team fell by the wayside.

All in all a very successful evening, which lead to the conservation of the team's #1 spot at TWL, which was made even sweeter by its ascention to its highest ever 3on3 rank in TWL, currently standing just inside the top 300 with one win outstanding, after a 6 match winning streak in the ladder.
