Default Combat Arms Patch Co-op Mode?

For 5/27, another dangerous mission has been added to the roster... Operation: Desert Thunder is going to take you soldiers into an East African desert. Don't worry, Central Command is providing a whole new set of weapons, items, and supplies to ensure your survival. Good luck, brave men and women of CA... you're going to need it.


Operation: Desert Thunder

SITREP: Mogadishu's military, the Sand Hog, is suspected of illegally supplying weapons to nearby countries and have been placed on the UAF's expulsion list. The local government has refused to take action until UAF headquarters provides concrete evidence. An infiltration team was sent in three days ago and signaled that they had obtained some vital Intel, but they failed to make it to the extraction point. They are believed to be captured or killed. Your mission is to infiltrate the mission area and gather the necessary Intel. If possible, find and rescue the infiltration team.


New Game Type: Fireteam Mode

Fireteam Mode brings cooperative gameplay to Combat Arms. Play with up to eight players in an intense multi-staged hostage rescue mission. Team up with your fellow soldiers to defeat the enemy army!

-- New Mercenary - Rocco, with the new Balanced Vest (+8% Protection, -5% Speed)
-- PP-19 MOD Submachine Gun
-- Supply Case PP-N (with a chance at the ultra-rare PP-19 MOD CAMO)

-- A new hidden exclusive weapon for the Supply Crate MYST-N

Unlock entire classes of weapons! Weapon Free Passes unlock all standard GP weapons with a rank requirement at or below the Sergeant First Class I rank. This Pass allows you to quickly sample a vast array of weapons. Try them all out and determine which ones are your favorites.

Elite Mod:
The “Ready” status for all players in the game room is reset when re-assigning the Room Master to an Elite Moderator.
Vote Kick has been disabled in an Elite Moderator’s room so they can maintain their own games.


Weapon Fixes:
UMP pickup area increased.
Shotgun reload/fire exploit fixed.
Grenades behave properly when thrown into a pool of water.

Map Fixes:
Showdown / Gray Hammer – Exploit where players could abuse a glitch to get out-of-world have been addressed.
Two Towers – Area of possible game-play abuse near Alpha Spawn has been blocked.
Snow Valley – Area where players would get blocked walking through a door underground in the missile silo has been fixed.
Snow Valley – Door that trapped players has been fixed.
Waverider – The balcony near the scaffolding that trapped players has been fixed.
Waverider – End-round Static camera brightness adjusted.
Warhead – Minor art textures fixed.

Game Mode Fixes:
Clan Game – Adjusted abnormal game-play detector to address an XP/GP exploit.
Search and Destroy and Capture the Flag – Now require 3vs3 as a minimum requirement to start.
Search and Destroy – Adjusted default settings to address an XP/GP exploit.
Spy Hunt – Weapons function properly after collecting Intel.
Spy Hunt – End-game scoreboard rank information fixed.

Item Fixes:
Heartbeat Sensor and Heartbeat Detector are allowed to be used in “No Explosives” arms mode.

Minor Functionality Issues:
Player Report window cursor functionality adjusted.
Supply Case text display of 2-day and 8-day items removed.
Minor adjustments have been made to the map loading screen and end-game scoreboard.


Balancing:
PSG-1 price adjusted to base 1-day cost of 1,600 GP.

Everything to Nexon's children and the helpless hopefuls who cry for the co-op mode.

When we get a spectate mode, or 1st person perspective in games, then it'll be a fine patch. That or registry fixes.

that's a lot of writing I didn't read =)

Seeing as CA is terrible, maybe some of the lots of writing fixes some of the lots of problems?

It's pretty much a joke mode that kids can whine about. Not even going to joke about seeing dozens of players call the AI hackers. Sure a couple of hiccups but hackers? The game is only as terrible as the players on it. Then again, my 80% headshot on the mode seems to be an "unreliable" flag for when I speak about it, according to most of the players that are die-hard fans of it.

Either way, there's a fun challenge going around, for a team to beat the mode using only m16's. Any CORE members want to accept the challenge with me? I'm willing to personally tell you my secrets of 100% headshots (come on they're bots, it's ridiculously easy) in the mode.

Its called baiting jo..I'VE WATCHED YOU!!!!! DONT DENY IT LOL.
My hs when i first started it was 45~ % but then i decided i wanted exp instead of stats(btw, the whole delta stat counter on the CA website is phucked..i have a 9kdr on delta LOL). Plus the fact that the bots only ever use single shot makes it pretty easy to hs them.

Not gonna deny it. When 95% of the game's population is trash, it's good that I can still see them worthful enough as bait. Plus I'm one of the people that works best when you give me my space. One of my biggest issues with n3Gaming was that they dont give me enough space to snipe, they kept trying to make the enemies peek. So I let the lesser beings rush while I clean sweep at the end.

Otherwise, there's a technique to firing with an ACOG scope that gives you 100% hs if you aim right. I'll show you guys today during practice. I'm gonna expect that this WOGL season the cG team gets a headshot for every bullet (like nixxonn if you watched him play - who by the way is an overrated player).
