After one of the closest matches we have ever been involved with; the beta team narrowly took tonights TWL promod match to defend our number 2 position in that ladder with a win in the very last round of play. SiR are a clan who we have beaten on two separate occasions previously and were obviously ready to take one back this evening.
After a rather dissapointing warm up session, we walk into the scrim with our heads down and starting to fall behind on our map, backlot, but seem to wake up considerable towards the end, finally taking it 13-7.
The second map was a rather different story however. Due to my retardedness i mistakenly warmed us up on the wrong map, so we walked into Crossfire, a weak map for us, as sure underdogs. We clinged on for the entire map and won the very last round to prevent a tiebreaker and take the map 8-12.
Very well played to tonights team; Sander, Volume, Pewpew and myself, although we should give Volume some extra credit for pratically carrying us with his scope in Crossfire. He really impressed tonight and proved that he is a worthy starter for the betas, well done man.
Well done guys, we managed to srape a win, proving that we dont have to be on fire to win scrims, solid stuff
