Core Gaming announces Pro Xbox360 Dance Central team!
Today marks a huge turning point in the history of Core Gaming, as we begin a substantial restructuring process, placing a far greater importance on the sporting aspect of professional gaming.
We think the term E-sports has become dramatically over-used in describing what is effectively point and click gaming, and as a result plan to bring the sport back to gaming, launching a professional and highly talented EU Dance Central team upon the game's launch, to push forward with our new ethos.
Having created a team with huge potential, we're confident we can usher in a new era for Core Gaming, soon to be renamed Lords of the Dance. With no further ado, Core is proud to announce its most exciting team yet:
Core Gaming Dance Central Pro team:
Oli "French" Petas - 1997 Dancer of the year, Ashford C of E School
- 2001 break-through break-dancing act, Headley village fete, UK
- 2003 ballet champion, Atlantis Fish & Chip shop staff team, Bordon, Uk.
Dave "Brambo" Court - Novice, but really good. Can skip well.
Chris "Chris" Down - 1998 gymnast of the month, Hazlewood School, Newcastle upon Tyne.
- 1999 Year 4 Top Ballroom partner of the year, Hazlewood school, Newcastle upon Tyne
- 2007 Champion, Foxtrot, St Patrick's Catholic church yearly dance competition. Newcastle upon Tyne.
With the team ready to play head-to-head 3on3 dance competition at LANs around Europe but also attending top North American events, and funding secured courtesy of our partners DediFrag.com and ProClanHosting.com, we're enormously grateful to our sponsors for their support in this venture.
We'd like to wish all the best to our extremely exciting new team! Any queries or comments on Core's new direction should be sent to pauline.yorlegg@coregamers.eu

Oh, how I lol'd. One question, though, French. How will the emergence of this pro-level Dance Central lineup change - if at all - the priorities of your all-conquering chess division?

Haha dw man, it's on the backburner for now, but if we can find some way of making chess more active, we can surely bring it back to the forefront of our new ACTIVE E-SPORTS ethos. x

Novice? I was pretty highly seeded back in my Dance Dance Revolution days, I'm sure it won't take me that long to pick it back up again.
