It's been a bumpy few days for Core Gaming in CS 1.6. With one of our flagship teams sadly departing to myRevenge, we'd like to wish Scott and his team the best of luck for the future.
We'd also like to take this the opportunity to announce that in little more than 24h, we feel we have somewhat chancingly found one of the most promising teams to ever have graced Core's doorstep. We are proud to announce our all-new
Core Gaming by DediFrag.com CS 1.6 team!
Having formed from two already successful teams, the team is ready to take on the world under its new name, and with such a great line up and management team now behind it too, we're expecting huge things from the boys! Currently competing in this season's
TheSGL Invite league, this marks Core Gaming's first venture into invite gameplay in CS 1.6, and a welcome sight it is! Having narrowly lost 14-16 to expected season champs Urban Vikings in their last round, the signs are already looking up!
Core Gaming is extremely proud to be bringing a team of such potential on-board to join our raft of other exciting and rising teams - we think they're in very good company! With no further ado, we present the Core Gaming CS 1.6 lineup, V2:

We caught up with nGen and smc, the team's captains, to get their thoughts on joining Core and what they want to achieve in the future:
Danilo "nGen" Drobac: "We're all really excited to be part of such a growing and ambitious organisation. It will be really interesting to see how this partnership turns out and I only see positives on the horizon. We'll be practicing a lot over the coming weeks for the 4Kings-LAN where we hope to make our first mark as Core!"
Sean 'smc' McShane: "We're proud to be part of Core Gaming and really happy to join an organisation that can support us on our journey. We have yet to prove much with this lineup but are thankful to Core for showing faith us. We are currently preparing for 4K LAN, where hopefully we can turn some heads!"
