Beta continue TWL success.

[Haggis]

Tonight saw the beta team take on SiR-Clan in the TWL 4v4 SnD no perks ladder, with a chance to take 3rd in the rankings.
Things started off tight in the first map, carentan, with both teams remaining neck and neck until CORE took charge of defence. The team: Ray, Jam-E, Haggis and SanderV started to fire up and took the map 12-8.
This got the ball rolling for us, but unfortunately we couldn't take our momentum into the second map. SiR outplayed us on this map, Strike, and took it with the score 12-8 to them.
This left us walking into our first tiebreaker, played on Strike and somehow we pulled it out of the bag and won the breaker 6-1.
This leaves the beta team ranked 3rd in this ladder which is a truely great effort from everyone involved. Who says we can't follow up on the A-teams glories?

I have to say, that match was quite intense. We won Carentan with a minor lead, but SiR was clearly stronger in Strike and it wasn't easy for us to make a draw out of it. In the tiebreaker (Strike as well) our teamwork (and small changes in tactics) were much better, which led us to a 6-1 advantage. Good job guys!
