Core Gaming announces all-new TF2 line-up!

Following the retirement of our TF2 team at the end of ETF2L Season 8, we had a big search on our hands to find such a good team as they were. Fortunately the search is over and with no further ado, we're pleased to announce our new Core Gaming by DediFrag.com TF2 team!

With an experienced and stable lineup currently in ETF2L division 2, the team is looking good to improve steadily over the months ahead and is quietly touted as a formidable force in the community. With an undoubtedly fantastic future ahead of them and great team atmosphere to boot, the team's signing is another step in a great direction for Core Gaming, following the recent COD4 and CS 1.6 team announcements.

Core Gaming is proud to be bringing a team of such calibre and standing in its community on-board, and is looking forward to some fantastic results in the future.

We caught up with Chris, the team's medic, and got his thoughts on joining Core, and what he wants to achieve in the future:

Chris "Chris" Down: "We're proud to have been chosen to represent Core Gaming in the European TF2 scene. Last season was our first as a team, and we had a bit of a rough ride in ETF2L division 2B, with some lineup problems and role changes, still finishing in a respectable 4th place, beating some of the top players in Europe along the way. The team has got through these lineup issues, and this season we will have a stable lineup ready to show ETF2L what we're made of. I would especially like to thank French, who's been great to work with whilst getting this partnership on the road. Season 9 looks to be the season that we really make a name for ourselves in European TF2."
