Core Gaming get underway in Season 8 ETF2L!
The Core Gaming by Dedifrag.com TF2 team saw its first match in Season 8 of EFT2L get under-way last week. The team were oiled, primed and ready to bring in their first win of the season, after a few months break from previous competition.
Unfortuantely not coming out on top in this particular match, Core lost against a strong Team Defiance side. The team felt they played well as a team however, with team Captain Chris "War" Parker commenting "Despite losing, we played really well on the second map in an attempt to fight back" Please feel free to follow how our TF2 team get on in the rest of Season 8 here: Core Gaming ETF2L Team

I'd like to comment that going 2 seasons undefeated then playing in a division that will actually challenge us is probably why we lost :P
And as everyone is back from trips etc. we should hopefully be practising a hell of a lot more now. As shown in the results, the first maps where scrappy, the 2nd maps where a lot more composed and put up a stronger challenge which resulted in a win. So we know what to do to get that extra advantage now.
