Core Gaming takes silver in ESL COD4 S&D 5on5 September Quick Cup
An excellent performance by Vodka and his team today saw the Core Gaming by DediFrag.com team take the second podium spot in the ESL 5on5 September Quick Cup, eventually defeated in the finals by tournament victors Hardware Arena.
Having downed Rabbits, BioCore, iCON, and 27United to get to the finals, things were looking rosy for the team, but HWA put paid to that idea taking the game 13-2 in a white-wash victory. This was nonetheless a hugely impressive performance for the team, which is at the moment punching above its weight regularly playing pre-invite teams whilst also trying new players to fill the 5th spot Rorz has recently vacated to focus on his time irl.
