Default Black Ops Multiplayer Teaser

In case you haven't seen it yet, Treyarch have released a multiplayer teaser for Black Ops, with a "full teaser" coming on September 1st.

YouTube - ‪Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer Teaser‬‎

Now, considering the double-whammy debacle that was World At War and MW2, I'm far more cautious with this seventh outing in the franchise. From the looks of things, Treyarch have gone with an MW2 feel to the whole affair ( ), with four killstreaks revealed in the video itself:

- RC Bomb / 3 Kills / Pilot a remote-controlled car with a bomb strapped to it.
Seeing as it looks like the car is always accelerating or going forward, it looks like it's a land-based Predator Missile.

- Care Package / 4 Kills / Exactly the same as MW2's incarnation. A box falls from the sky and it has goodies inside.

- Archangel / 5 Kills / I'm not sure what this one does, but searching for "Archangel" on Wikipedia comes up with a Cold War-era spy plane (the Lockheed A-12) which was used in the 60s.

- Napalm Strike / ? Kills / For those wanting to bring out their inner Kilgore and remark on how the fire smells like victory, this one's for you. It does precisely what it says on the tin; fires off an airstrike filled with napalm.

---

There are also some interesting-looking gadgets and weapons in there too, including the Ballistic Knife (a knife which can fire its blade a short distance), some sort of crossbow with a timed explosive and a "Camera Spike" - a camera on a tripod that gives the player a thermal-imaging shot of a location in the top left of their screen.

---

At the end of the video, however, it shows a flickering video clip of what seems to be a Halo-style Theater mode though, from the GUI shown at the bottom, the footage is clearly taken from the XBox 360. Considering this is a Treyarch/Activision thing, I'm going to say that this feature not being on the PC is a very likely scenario.

Looks just like MW2... Meh! Can't be arsed with this game. On the bright side though, it does have dedicated server support for PC

I've got this one being just as bad as MW2, although if it has dedi servers for PC it might be a teeney bit better, I'd assume that the only way it would be better if someone cleverly modded it to get rid of all shitty killstreaks and overpowered weapons...

Shame they don't realize that what mad COD4 so good on the PC was the mods and stuff.

And what made MW2 so bad was the complete lack of skill required to come first.

Oh look, a care package with a Chopper Gunner, thx. :/

Shame that they are in this game as well, if dedi servers can have settings to get rid of crappy killstreaks and if fps configs will work well, I might consider getting it.
