Funny formula I found for making & branding your very own band

1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

I think mine suits me quite well lal.

See, my band looks semi-pro. Yours looks like your mum would play guitar, your best mate's daughter plays the drums, and while you may be a good singer, your gran, who btw is your publicist, is ALWAYS standing just behind you, trying to make your hair less messy because you won't stop head-banging and she wants her band to have a clean-look.

Ahhh the stuff one can deduce from an album cover.

Also, have you noticed your covers aren't square? :s

Your so-called "semi-pro" band can't even silhouette the lights on their album cover. And, if those lights are on, why is the crowd below silhouetted in the first place?

CD cases aren't square. I'm merely accomodating the sleeve section anyway, just in case they feel like putting the cover in on the wrong side. You never know - there might be a demand for albums that are meant to be opened from the back like a manga book!

As for what one can deduce from album covers, your cover looks like a nightclub. So... drunken, drug-addled chavs knifing eachother (or shooting eachother while trying to look like rap stars if it's London) while simultaneously trying to drag as many girls as they into the nearest secluded room. And, if there's a football match on, you can add rioting and firebombs to the mix. That and all the cars outside are likely to be stolen.

And my hair's not messy! It's just... oh, fine, you can have that one.
