While the testaments to the length of the singleplayer experience can be justified (I got through the whole thing in six and a half hours on Veteran, even with dying a shitload of times on one particular mission), the story was pretty damn good, with a fair few plot twists in there for good measure (627. That's all I'll say)
The multiplayer is good for the system it's using to provide it, but... already I'm sick of having to wait for host migration whenever someone ragequits. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw (and, for some reason, having a Strict NAT setting which I'll need my brother's help to rectify), but the lag hasn't really been that bad.
Nine times out of ten, the only time you really notice it is when you're throwing a grenade (there's a slight delay as the server realises what you're doing). I've only seen an
everyone's connection goes red for a bit thing occuring once. Other than that and the glaring lack of dedicated servers to play/scrim/get banned on, it's the regular CoD fare.
Also, the Wasteland map. Old-school CoD fans rejoice! It's Brecourt!
