Default Gaming swag

This proves to be an interesting topic every time that I bring it up. Does anyone have any gaming swag that they are particularly proud of?

I have a few.

Firstly, my custom gaming mouse-pad. When I got this, I used to go around by the gamer-tag "Pheonix" (my brother was Phoenix, so don't comment on the typo X.X). That is why I have this particular graphic drawn on it. Won it in a Combat Arms 2v2 SnD tournament when my team placed 3rd (by the way, our team was gunning for 3rd place, since it had the custom mouse-pads offer, haha). Here it is.

Next up is my Yu-Gi-Oh Exodia 5 card, season 0 first print set. Only one of these exists in the world since it's the "first print." Won it at the South-East Asian Konami Convention, placed first on the Yu-Gi-Oh ladder over the course of three days for it. Here it is. (Not fake, for yugioh fans, this was the first print so it has the japanese card artwork but the english translation, later on in season 1 cards, this was rectified and the english versions got their own artwork.) Each of these cards would go anywhere between 250-500 a piece, 5 pieces in all. Inner geek ftw.

Finally, probably my most prized possession (not really, that would be my alienware rig, solely for the case value haha). A rifts game signed by Kevin Siembieda (link: Kevin Siembieda - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) himself, along with a limited edition N-GAGE console to play the game (silver instead of the normal olive green, only 75 of the silver systems were produced, and only 5 of which made it to the US). Got it after I attended Palladium Convention three or four years back and won a round of the original paper and pen game. Awesome game, awesome guy, awesome link to the swag. Inner geek ftw yet again.

Anyone got something interesting to share?

Gaming paraphernalia/swag is basically cosmetic, or iconic items that are in tribute to a game, a gaming company or a game related outlet or organization. Swag (or sometimes referred to as schwag) are basically promotional merchandise for a game/company, except some of them could literally reach the thousands in price if you ever think about selling them.

Basically, the cod4 mw2 night vision goggles can be considered swag, so can be a darth vader phone. That sort of thing.

You don't even own a gameboy? that's quite oldschool.

I used to have a SNES at my gran's house but she thought it was a broken VHS player and threw it away -.-

I hear those are picking up value again now though.

I recently bought another SNES (and a few games) from a market stall for £5. The power cable was downright dangerous (as in cut apart and refixed with electrical tape) but, thankfully, my dad somehow had an intact power cable/plug for the SNES and gave it to me. Now all I need to do is find a copy of Super Metroid on EBay (preferably a decent condition big box version - the one that came with the players guide, as that's the one I originally got for my birthday when I was 8) and I'm all set.
