Default Top clans offer

Well this has been discussed with me and Nate from the designer himself a couple of times. Basically, there is a professional shirt designer playing the game (CA), and as an offer to the top teams he's offered to design shirts, but we'll have to buy them. So far he's made e7 shirts, 101st shirt (only one, since they didn't like the idea), perhaps VerTu shirts, and the offer extends to us as well.

However, the true offer lies in the fact that if multiple people buy the shirts it becomes less expensive. So I was just wondering how many of our active members would buy the shirt, if we had him design it to our liking.

Active members:
  • KNI9HT (confirmed)
  • iDeceiver (ask your bro as well)
  • -iKoN
  • -2sly- (confirmed)
  • PickPocketed (rejected)
  • --TheFray--
  • MrTea

We only need about 4 to 5 people who are down with the idea to get the discount. Who all are interested?

EDIT: Of course I can explain to the guy that this offer extends to cG's other divisions, as well. But I need to know if we are eligible for the discount first, then we can tally up how many we will order. Also, I was personally thinking that for the CA division we can use our cG' signatures as gamer-tags on the shirts, if the CoD divisions would like I could ask him to design something for CoD themselves so they have their own gamer-tags as well?

I don't have any way of sending payment online, so I guess I can't, sorry.

Sounds like a cool idea though. (The T-Shirt guy is from Nullify, right?)

Yes, pick, he's the nullify leader.

EDIT: Also pick, if everyone else is getting one and you'll be left out, I don't mind pitching in your share so you get one, too. It shouldn't really be that much, more like 20$ which I can get you easily.

I'm in the process of getting myself a debit card. If this ever got put through for the CoD guys, I'd be pretty damn tempted, despite me not officially being on a CoD team roster atm. xD

Just a teenie update.

John "kniGht" Girgis: Hey bro
John "kniGht" Girgis: I put the shirt idea forward to the core guys
John "kniGht" Girgis: and the CoD division seems interested
John "kniGht" Girgis: so I was wondering, how many exactly can you make?

PureH2O: hehe
PureH2O: a bunch

John "kniGht" Girgis: like is there a limit to how many we order
John "kniGht" Girgis: ?

PureH2O: nope

John "kniGht" Girgis: sounds great
John "kniGht" Girgis: also, another thing on my mind
John "kniGht" Girgis: Im sure you've seen our signatures
John "kniGht" Girgis: the cG ones
John "kniGht" Girgis: I was wondering if we can get everyone's signature custom made on their shirts so everyone gets their own name-tag on their own shirt
John "kniGht" Girgis: is that possible?
John "kniGht" Girgis: its not something we have discussed yet, just something I thought of

PureH2O: well
PureH2O: dude
PureH2O: thing is
PureH2O: it can be done
PureH2O: but lets just hope ur pocket is deep

John "kniGht" Girgis: lmao, so you're saying it's cheaper if we all get the same thing, alright I'll ask the core guys what they think

To be honest, I'd PREFER a standard core T-shirt....

And yes, I'd definitely buy one if it looked Hawt. I have PSD's of core's logo (thanks again ray), and such. 100% interested... he able to produce some designs? We shuold also get DF's Logo on there... Maybe we could get some money back off DF for the advertising, idk - all just a bunch of my ideas, what do you all think? I'm fine to follow the crowd though xD

Me and sly had a nice talk with the designer's aide. We got some things down.

Sly wants to split up the shirts into a CoD division shirt, and CA division shirt with a candle on the back (since that's cG's logo on the combat arms servers). However, that will cost more than if we just get one standardized shirt and buy it in a batch for all of us. Now, I am NOT a professional t-shirt designer, but this is what I mocked up in about (literally) 10 seconds in microsoft paint:

http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/3686/backnfront.jpg

(Next part for the CA guys, sly would prefer the logos to be bigger as in: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...backnfront.jpg sly made this picture, not me, I would never let such quality out of MY microsoft paint :P).

What we basically need to decide on is what graphics to use on the shirt. I am not a fan of the candle, not to lie. It is iconic of our CA department, true, but I never really liked it, unique yes, creative also yes, nice looking ... uhhh. So personally I wouldn't want the candle, I'd rather go with French's dedifrag logo support idea.

We also need to decide where the graphics go and what size they should be. Being the soccer fan that I am, you can see the inspiration for my design, I was never a fan of big logos. But I am open for suggestions. As the situation is with French, I will also be following the crowd, although I will be pitching in with my opinion constantly.

I agree with French on this one. A standard shirt for everyone in cG would likely work out cheaper than getting a seperate one for CA and CoD.

I agree, as well, so what we need to decide on is what logos go on the front, back, what colors the shirt should be. I am having a chat (along with sly and the aide) with the designer himself later on today.

I was promised that he will modify the cG' logo into something more professional/sick looking, so both me and sly are waiting to see what he will make of it, before we decide completely, whether to let him innovate or intervene and choose on our own. Also the logo he makes is not final, it is merely a suggestion of what he is capable of.

An example of the extent of modifications he does to clan logos; His innovation of what the "101st Airborne" logo should be: http://wogl.org/league/files/team/logo/187.png
