Anyone have a Razer DeathAdder?
Considering a birthday purchase of one
If you have one, what are your thoughts?
Something particularly important to me is that it has stepped scrolling rather than the continuous scroll of my current Microsoft mouse.
(like, you can hear and feel the scroll wheel clicking)
Reviews pl0x!!!!! Also, anyone has any other razer mouse that they wanna add a review, please do =) (note i WANT razer, not any other brand... purely so it matches my keyboard )

I don't have a Razer Deathadder, but the Microsoft mouse I have does have stepped scrolling on its wheel.
It's great for when you want to switch weapons and not find yourself with an AK again when you wanted the DEagle. So on that particular basis, a mouse with stepped scrolling is a good buy.
Though you'll have to wait for one of the Razer afficionados that no doubt lurk here somewhere to give you an opinion/review on... the rest of the mouse.

I've tried CoD4 on my crappy old optical, my Kone and my brother's Razer Diamondback 3G. All three have stepped scrolling and all three sometimes fail to swap weapons properly. It might just be something in the game.
I would add a review of the 3G but it's pretty old now so you'd be silly to buy one :P

I worked at best buy for a while, naturally I've tried most gaming mice, since I'm that kind of person. The three mice I love the most are the logitech mx518, g5 and g9. They are the most comfortable, as well as the best tactile feedback on my clicks as possible, not a joke.
The deathadder is amazing, as is the lachesis, copperhead and diamondback, you will have no problems with any of those mice, perfect controls without a hitch or a missed dpi scan return. The mamba is the only one that felt like "too much dpi", as well as the weights didn't feel like they had a sweet spot, more like "different weights for different occasions."
All in all, you should be happy with your deathadder.
Although, if you haven't placed an order, definitely, DEFINITELY look into the mx518 and the g9.

Yup Ive got a deathadder.
Thing looks sexy, but is a bitch to control over your first few days. Definately gotta screw around with sensitivities both in-game and in teh razer control panel. I found (coming from a standard Dell mouse) that Mouse Button 1 and 2 were REALLY sensitive( im not jokin when I say that). I ran around for weeks accidentally scoping in at times which became really annoying, but once I got used to it, I loved it. Fits almost any hand perfectly, and runs realllllllly smooth. Haven't had any problems with it thus far (had it since late 08) and I hope it stays that way.
