Hello, I’m writing this letter on behave of myself Ryan Cook 18 years old (aduro Cookie) and Lewis Youell 17 years old (aduro Belua). We met at school and due to our common love of gaming we decided to start playing together online. We have been teaming together for a year or so now and after having numerous online and offline achievements on black ops and modern warfare 3 we have been giving it some thought and decided to expand our gaming careers by trying to find and represent an organisation for modern warfare3 (mw3) as we feel that this is the next step up from our current status.
We first started playing game battles (
GameBattles: The World Leader in Online Video Game Competition) together in which I formed a team named “aduro”. over the first few seasons of black ops we started to gain our self a good reputations as we were considered one of the best teams as the game was starting out, being the first team to gain over 100 wins on the ladder with a 10/1 win ratio. We consistently kept this ratio going through the following months.
After playing game battles for a few months and becoming well known, we felt we needed more of a challenge to help us become better players. This is when we first started to play decerto (
Decerto - Premier European eSports Coverage Site).
When we first moved to decerto Lewis and I were teaming with various other players in arranged scrims. Once we felt that we could handle this step up in the level of gaming, we started to enter small one day tournaments as the tournament style of play gave us a beginner’s insight into how the bigger tournaments work. Once we started to get better placements in the smaller tournaments we decided to up our game once again and started entering bigger tournaments where prices are involved. We slowly started to improve and after reaching many semi finals of these tournaments, we finally started to win a few. We have collectively won £50, this includes the market price of the 400msp we have each won.
Our success in Gamebattles, decerto, and online tournaments gave us some encouragement to attend LAN events. The first LAN event we attended was EGL4 in London we placed 33rd out of 64 teams. We ended up getting knocked out in the semi-finals of the intermediate bracket. For our first LAN event we felt this was a reasonable placement and decided that we would like to attend many more. Our second and most recent LAN was Reflex GT6 which is held in Amsterdam. Our final placement for this event was 17th out of 32 teams. We are hoping to attend the upcoming events EGL5 and i45, whether we attend or not depend on our money situation, as we are both currently searching for jobs to earn some money so we can continue attending events.
The newest member of our team is Karim Semin, 16 years old. (Grapy). He has been a close friend of mine and Lewis's since the start of modern warfare 3. We have been scrimming together for a few weeks now and our chemistry with him is as if we have known him for as long as Lewis and I have known each other. He has an extremely positive attitude towards gaming and life in general, he always puts us in a good mood when we are in a lobby/party with him. Despite him being Dutch, he can speak English as if he was born and raised in the UK, so a language barrier is no problem whatsoever.
Karim has so far attended three LAN's. The first LAN he decided to attend was the fifth edition of Reflex GT which is held in Amsterdam, he achieved a reasonable placement of 17th at this LAN, taking into account that he attended with a pickup team. The second he attended was the last of the Black Ops events, Ultimate Gaming LAN, Which he travelled to Belgium to attend. Although this was only a small event, He achieved 4th place. The 3rd and most recent event that he has attended was the sixth edition of Reflex GT (Amsterdam). Out of the 32 teams that attended this event, Karim achieved a respectable placement of 13th. This is where we first met Karim in person, and we got on so well that we decided to start scrimming together to see how it went. After a few weeks of scrimming with plenty of success as our friend, we finally decided that picking up Karim as a team mate was a good choice to make, as he is an exceptional player and friend.
Our final player is Connor (JoKa Boii) Dayer, 19. He has played in the competitive scene for 4 years now, starting on CoD4 and staying at it all the way through to the present (MW3). Throughout his time in the competitive community he has experienced many different game types and play styles, ranging from ProMod CoD4 on PC, to xbox360 console CoD. On console he has had a fair few achievements online, winning 5 playoff finals on Gamebattles, gaining a good reputation and gaining somewhat of a fan club. After his success on Gamebattles, He decided to move over to decerto. Quickly settling down in the community, he decided that he would attend his first LAN event, EGL4. As it was his first event, he decided to attend with friends just to see what the experience was like. He thoroughly enjoyed it and placed 34th/64 teams at the event. Connor is the soul owner of two very successful YouTube channels, both partnered with Machinima Respawn. Collectively, he has 14,349 subscribers, 452,340 channel views and 1,914,777 video views.

To sum things up, we want to represent your organisation as we have heard that you are very supportive of your teams and we feel we need some support in our quest to become the best we can be and to gain a good reputation throughout the mw3 scene.
The things we could do for your organisation would be to help spread your name throughout the European gaming community by attending LAN’S in the UK and abroad also by entering P2P (pay to play) tournaments.
