When will they fucking realise than putting the price up isn't gona stop us drinking, they are only using it as an excuse to get to our wallets. Don't you just love the government?

can you blame em?
Simple supply & demand. If the demand's not gonna fall, crank the price up. They need to get money in somehow - they're bailing companies out left right & centre so tbh i'd be worried if they WEREN'T upping taxes on inelastic stuff like that.

Yes i fucking can blame em!!!!!!
Man taking more money from the people isnt gona solve the credit crunch.
Britain already gets taxed far more than any other country and its a load of fucking bull. If they didnt waste so much of our fucking money on bullshit then they wldn't need to raise taxes. Y shld we pay for there money fuck ups. The worst thing about it is that they'll hide this blatent tax increase by saying its for ur health and such.
Some fuck ups, but to say a few:

that's EXACTLY what gives them the right. Turn what you said on its head...
demand hasn't fallen, supply's the same... but they're making more money. For the economy & the government it's a win/win situation. yes, you may be feeling a bit poorer, but generally speaking the economy & government need your money more than you do :P

Yeh, it's alright for you French, you only need a sniff of the stuff and you're throwing up in your trousers and curling around around the toilet for a day and a half.
Even tippex makes you woozy.
But what about us guys who like to wind down from a long hard day of doing a full solid day of working hard doing work, like me, with a couple of pints?
And guaranteed that if the government started taxing internet usage, you'd be burning your ethernet cables outside buckingham palace.

Gives them the right?
What the hell are you on about dude. If demand went up or supply fell, then yes the companies who make the stuff can charge more, but y the hell does that give the government the RIGHT to put more taxes on em.
So u think the government can just take our money as they wish. The government needs my money more than i do, WTF French, u are actually deluded man. So all those posts about them wasteing billions of our money and you still think it's fine for em to ask for more. lol
I see what ur saying man, the fact that they'll make a shit load of money outa it, but y do they have the right to do so and y the hell does that not piss u off? Y the hell are u sooo cool about the british government putting taxes up and taking ur money off ya? Do you work for em or sumin?
They lit waste so much money on shit, which if they didnt, they wldnt need to put taxes up. Y do we have to pay for the fuckups?
