Hello friends! I would like to put under discussion an idea of makinga frag movie for Core in which every member would be presented along with their in-game best moments. This idea came to my mind after watching movie STEVY from TEK9.

If I put my mind to it I could probably has a go at making some kind of video. (don't worry I'll put a bit more effort in rather than just lining up clips!)

We need the clips first tho!

Up to now, I've made two videos. The first was a similar idea to what Moses is proposing, featuring a few people from my first clan. I followed it up with a solo one I made for someone from that clan after it broke up in CoD2.

Right now, though, I'm making my first CoD4 video (also the first one featuring me on my own). I'm playing around with Vegas 8 and doing some slight dabbling in AfterEffects (though I'm still not too good with it), so most of my video-making time's focused on doing that one.

But it's an interesting idea. And yes, Goddard has a point. Having the demos come in as you're trying to make the video itself just serves to slow things down, as you find yourself waiting for the next batch to come along when you're done finding the best bits of the previous lot.

Yes, I said demos. I record demos, then use Fraps to record it while they're playing back. That way, I don't have Fraps running while trying to play.

In other news, my video's coming along nicely. It's about halfway done at the moment.

I think a nice format for this would possibly be to either..

a) Have a section for each player on the video (not making it too long tho) with the best stuff and a bit. This was we can get the main killing footage in but also other various random bits filler kinda stuff which could look cool.

b) Just do it as a mish mash of everyones bits and pieces.

Also I reckon if you can try and get the vent convo's in there and recorded as they are sometimes funny! Plus you can just cancel them out if need be.

yea guys this sounds like a well good idea. It might be a bit more fun too; if for the less skilled players we take the piss a lil e.g.

ML's only appearance in the vid cld be him running along and getting hit by a sniper

lol - Then big really impressive 'CORE ML' writing flashing up on the screen. lol. I use ML as an example, no offence intended

If you're just using me as an example, why are you so specific about ME just having one segment where I get hit by a sniper? Wouldn't it make more sense to have this "unspecified" person getting hit by a sniper and then some flashy text saying .:CORE:. "Unspecified person"? XD

Sounds like a good description of my part on this though lol
