.: Core Gaming AVA Team score #5 and $250 prize in official AVA 10k League!
In a valiant effort through the quarter finals versus eventual victors, Defkon Gaming, Core Gaming succumbed to their opponents 7-14 over India and Dual Sight.
In a match cast live over e-Rev TV, and heavily watched by the AVA community, the team did Core proud as they put up a decent fight against their opponents. With a short preparation time prior to the league, but a #1 seed from the official qualification ladder, the team was in good spirits entering the match, despite knowing the challenges ahead.
We expect to be back with an even more finely honed team for future leagues, as ijji's AVA leagues are proving to be some of the hottest competitions on the American side of the pond of late.
Congratulations to 2Sly and his team on their $250 prize, and we hope we have more to come in the future!

.: AVA league update: Ladder topped and into quarters!
Fantastic news for our AVA team these past few days, as they topped the ladder selection stages for the official ijji AVA League, and moved onto the play-off stages in the final 16 teams.
As one of the favourite teams for the $10k prize, Core Gaming subsequently flattened Fatal Gaming to move into the quarter finals last night, in a match casted on E-Rev TV, heralding Core Gaming's successful return to online TV since the retirement of its Combat Arms team earlier this year.
Congratulations to the team - the entire organisation and ProClanHosting are rooting for them in subsequent matches!

.: French gets a slave!
Having searched for more administrative help approximately since the 1st July 2007, French has finally found someone suitable!
We have a dedicated person coming on board with us, by the name of Ryan. He'll be gradually getting up to speed on all of Core Gaming's activities, and learning and helping out managing Core with me.
Ryan will be a global captain, lending a hand to all team captains as and when needed, eventually covering news, roster appointments, xfire clan administration, and other such tasks, as well as overseeing and ensuring Core Gaming's development with me.
I'd like to wish a warm welcome to Core Gaming's first ever 100% administrative staff member!
